The office environment was very realistic with a unsettling hint to it. The mechanics and jump scares were good, and there was a bit of mystery with this. I was kind of hoping for another ending but it's not a deal breaker for me. I had fun with this and glad I got to play it. Good job!
this is a really good audiovisual horror experience with some unnerving progression and solid scares. the atmosphere is really good, I just wish it was more interactive — unless I missed something, it seems like there’s no way to affect what’s going on. as an example, when I was served the first symbol, I wanted to stamp immediately — but I couldn’t do anything so it just felt like a cutscene. actually, the whole game felt like a cutscene where you can only look around or click to progress. it’s very railroaded, but maybe that’s the point? we have no choice in this modern hell.
Great atmosphere, I love how you rendered everything through an old VHS type filter. This was a very entertaining experience and really got my heart rate up lol
HOW DOES IT KNOW MY NAME. I love the little details like the notes changing over time. Also sound and visuals are on point.
It's stampin' time
You should STAMP yourself NOW ⚡⚡⚡
But seriously, very good horror for your first time. It made me jump.
Holly shit! The best one i play far now.
How the fuck it knows my name?
This game made me think of 'Papers, Please' and 'Inscryption' (especially the sound effects). The stamping animation and sound effect is really satisfying. I just couldn't... stop... stamping.
The biggest jump scare for me was probably not an intentional one.
what scared you then? lol
For a second at the end, I thought the game knew even more about me. But it was just coincidence.
Would be really glad if you check it on stream!
I'll rate your for sure, but tomorrow - it's already 3 am for me...
Unfortunately it is fatally broken due to a very dumb copy-paste error and can't be finished, but i hope you'll enjoy it as it is.
I'll upload fixed version as soon as jam ends so people can play and complete it if they're interested, but for now I don't want them to judge the full version instead of a legitimate one, even if I can have jam version still available for judges (idk if I can).

You scoped this quite well, being able to implement that many different scenes, even if it is fully linear (as far as I could tell). Clear focus on what is important for this kind of game (player/character's experience) as opposed to me who spent the first week implementing everything else and then had no juice to do the "aberration" part right. All in all, pretty cool experience with sweet details.
Minor nitpick: men of 1997 were different breed, a document with strange sigil would get stamped as any other and no Fs would be given.
Nice game. The dramatic irony at the end (seeing the "only" and being able to guess what comes next) is really good, and the atmosphere in general is on point. The jumpscares don't necessarily land that strongly, but I think that's because they're both predictable and unavoidable. I think the important characteristic of a "fair" jumpscare is that it's something that could happen at any moment, but that you're also actively trying to avoid, so when it happens it's both unexpected but also in some sense "your fault." I didn't really get that vibe in this game, since it's mostly pretty on-rails. That being said, it was still a compelling horror experience vibes-wise, and pretty novel compared to the standard "walking around in dark hallways with a flashlight" itch.io horror game formula.
I hopped on your stream and you said that the first jumpscare doesn't get many people. Well, it got me, I was honestly expecting it to build up and go back to normal and not to a jumpscare lol. Anyways I really enjoyed this, the audio and visuals go together perfectly. Also all the subtle changes made the game for me, really great entry!
I stamp, therefore I am

Stamping was actually pretty satisfying!
Good luck with the jam!
Cool spooky game. Great atmosphere and world building. The environment changing without you noticing, like the text on the post-it-notes, was neat. Some NPCs tell you not to stamp, however nothing seems to happen if you dont. I wish there where consequences if you stopped stamping. However, I also wish you could play as a frog picking up abilites while running away from a squid.
Phenomenal atmosphere. Seeing the person on the left show me that note was a real " oh-crap " moment for me, outside of the jump scares by the boss lol
Also love the ducc on the left of the table
The way the environment changed over time and people started disappearing was pretty subtle and cool as well.
Honestly I don't have any complaints. This is a cool little horror game
wait til he sees my glassdoor review on this company... then he'll be screwed...
in all seriousness, hooooooly the atmosphere in this game was incredible! the environment and aesthetics are so well put together, plus the minimalist "routine-like" gameplay sells the dreary office job setting really well! despite the setting were in, i really love how much personality my little desk has, from the sticky notes plastered on the walls to the goat (totally not foreshadowing at all) and duck figures. i also like all the little details that are spread out in the game as you continue playing it, made me appreciate the environment more! all in all, this was a short but very sweet experience, great job!
i really like the asthetics, but the camera was kind of broken when i tried it out in a virtual machine. i always had to look to the left first to be able to look at the folders on the right. don't know it this is a but. it felt off
great original game idea and art to sell the horror.
Gameplay loop is simple but I think it works in the context of the jam and to really sell that offices are the true hell.
this was rly neat! honestly got intense with the nature and vibe of the game! solid work!
A little monotonous in terms of gameplay, but it was pretty original. I didn't stop stamping once (except for when the game made me) and, despite how it ended, I feel like I made employee of the month.
Could see Markiplier playing this in his 5 horror games videos. Super well done, you should be proud!
