Fun and nice little space game! Love the buttons sound
The timer was a bit on the longer side and the music was quite repetitive, but otherwise, it was a fun little space adventure.
Very nice controls. I definitely did not expect there to be a second game at the end of the first. I really enjoyed stacking damage and fire rate buffs. The monsters looked pretty cool, well done!
Twist at the end was nice! Well made shooting game(s).
I think some monsters get stuck on the wall when you stand in the corner between entrances, which makes challenge a bit easier - I didn't test it out well enough tho
And monster art is really cool!
I really like the idea of the twist at the end of the timer, although the timer was so long I almost gave up and didn't even see the rest of the game. And the art of the monsters is very good too!
Cool! I like how the whole game changes after you reach the initial objective. As mentioned, maybe a less noisy background or a more intuitive game loop (so that people know there's more to do after finishing the spaceship part) would be a good upgrade. But other than that, I really enjoyed the artwork and gameplay.
i can't say i've ever been on a space adventure quite like this xd. this was a wonderful little space game you created! i think that my high score was around 398, but unfortunately the score text disappeared before i got to see exactly what it was D:. would have grinded a bit more to see if i could beat your best score, but unfortunately i got caught up with... other things i needed to do xd.
all the monster art i think is nicely done, the hit effects on the bullets colliding with anything damageable was also nice! though i think there were moments were the asteroids were relatively hard to see against the background. maybe either adding black outlines to the asteroids or making the background darker or less visually noisy/busy (the number of white stars in the background make it hard to see).
the game loop was pretty fun too! i like how the asteroids are faster than the monsters and can block hits, i had a few situations where i had to back off and lose out on points because of scenarios like that. it forces the player to kind of evaluate their position and take into account the amount of asteroids that are close to the monster, which makes it engaging!
i also liked the little conclusion to our little space adventure, it was a welcome surprise xd! nice game, great work!
