A very satisfying tree cutting game. I really had fun during the gameplay, the look of the UI is extremely beautiful, the mechanism works perfectly, the voice acting is extremely well done and the graphics are amazing.
This is a great game, however I have a few issues to mention:
1) The game doesn't have a main menu, it throws you directly into the game (however, I think the exit mechanism when you hold the "ESC" key is cool).
2) The controls are easy to anticipate, but still I would have liked a short tutorial in the game to tell me the controls (this is not mandatory, but intuitively I pressed the ESC key and saw that I could exit the game that way, but the problem it happened if I didn't even know how to close the game).
3) Not really a problem, but I think there is a mistake in the UI of that alien starfish at the word "fairy" (maybe I'm exaggerating and the mistake is intentional).
When you encounter a piece of ART that powerful all you can bask in it's glory. The feeling of power as you CHOP, the voice acting conveying the both characters motivation in the subtlest of ways. The powerful, yet gentle eroticism of the red faerie dude... This was truly glorious game, nay! experience!!
The voice acting gave me just enough to want to keep playing. Gameplay loop is decently fun, but the low FOV made me nauseous after a while so I quit after CHOP 4
Thanks for checking it out man. The FOV was my bad, we like to render the first person weapon at a lower FOV but I forgot to setup the cameras to render the game at the higher one. Doesn't make me sick though, but I have heard it can do! The game view is now rendering correctly at 80 FOV (weapon at 70). :)
Curious though what FOV do you usually play your FPS at? If we had a FOV slider, what range of FOV do you recommend we support?
No problem! It was lots of fun talking to sexy fairy man, I think I was just fixated on the top of the wood pile too much. I'm glad you fixed it though! 80 sounds like a good FOV, for reference Upwell is 85 FOV. Not super sure about the slider, if I had to guess I'd say 70-90 seems like a good range.

Framerate: painful
Voice acting: delightful
Narrative: unparalleled
It's got much better performance now and updates, I'd give it a spin if you liked it haha
