General

The Home Jam will work similarly to the usual GamesJams but online and with double the allotted time(24h->48h).

The game jam will start at 12:00 am Saturday 24rd of March when we will announce the theme(s) for the event, the game jam will run until 23:59 pm Sunday 25th of March.

You can work as a team or on your own, it's up to you how you do it!

Since this is at home you are free to use any tools or libraries to create your game. You’re free to start with any base-code you may have. You’re free to use 3rd party Artwork/Music/Audio assets, or assets you previously created. We strongly recommend you only use assets that you have the legal right to use, if the assets you use are not your own, please just include a .txt file in your project with the link to find the assets. Non-Video Game entries will be discarded.
All submissions must be submitted to https://itch.io/jam/48hr-home-jam-2 (entries will come under the MIT open source licence, see the pins in #game-jam)

If you are taking part in the event please assign yourself the Game Jammer role so we can ping you about more notifications for the event (Do .role game jammer in #botspam).
The winner(s) will receive the special role "HOMEJAM 2 WINNERS" (until further notice.)

We wish those who are taking part good luck!
