Super fun but unbeatable :)
I was wondering where the pig work. Is it a butcher?^^

This game is challenging, but a lot of fun too! The low fidelity VHS look combined with the light fog in the distance adds so much to the atmosphere, and your decision to implement the cars with physics made for some tense moments as they collided and drifted. A perfect example of emergent gameplay creating memorable moments!

Thank you! :D

There was a moment, possibly a bug, when a car just straight up drove through the bicycle lane and  I gotta say, that is really the icing on the cake. That is just kick while you're down. This game is great, and I can feel the frustration so hard. The police car is just.......OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Excellent display of narrative through gameplay.

Developer(+1)

Haha, the cars' movement is 100% at the mercy of Unity's physics system, but cars drifting into the bike lane is definitely part of the cycling ~experience~ I'd say, lmao. Thank you so much!!

Exactly like I imagined life in America to be!

Looks great and the gameplay is fun!

I sucked at it! But it gave me a good laugh. Took me by surprise when cars started flying all over the place which led me to bump into the guard rail at 1 mile an hour for a very unspectacular death...

Thank you! The main goal was to make people laugh :D

This is great - love how quickly everything descends into carnage!

I'll agree with other comments that it's got a very steep difficulty curve, but I still very much enjoyed my time playing. Definitely reminded me of QWOP in terms of the unconventional control scheme, level of challenge and the overwhelming urge to try just one more run

The 90s aesthetic is solid, I choose to interpret this as commentary into how little urban planning has changed in the past 30 years for US based cyclists.

I'd also just like to add here that I absolutely love the cover art!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!! A lot of people have compared this QWOP, the lulsiness in the controls wasn't intentional but I certainly see it now in practice, haha. You're definitely right on the commentary part. I tried very hard to make the art appealing so I'm very glad you like it! :D

This has some great potential ! It looks very pro and polished. Really hard to score high, but maybe I just suck ahah.  I couldn't go really far into the track so I don't know how it evolves along the way. It could really benefit the experience to smooth out the difficulty curve a bit.

Overall I enjoyed my time with your game :) Congrats on this !

Developer

Definitely the difficulty scaling is something I would've liked to work on more—the unfortunate thing about testing games like this is that you accidentally get kinda good at the game after tweaking controls and playing for so long, haha. If I could go back I would definitely make the controls easier to handle. But thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
