Chat moved a little fast but I could just wait until it came up to a choice and reread (also I only had a problem with it once so no big deal lol) As someone who's known people who are and/or been a lot of these identities it was really cool to see so many different interpretations of gender and personalities! They all came off as characters really well!!
I love this premise. I remember reading a book along the same lines where all the characters were the same person across multiple universes. Using different "you"s is a great way to have a diversity of opinion while being applicable and non-confrontational when dealing with personal questions like this come up. Also seems like a good introduction to gender identities, and how one could discover their own feelings towards them. As for nitpicks, the messages come a bit fast at points, and scrolling back isn't an option until the flood stops. Also, the scroll bar goes under the header so that's a thing. But those are pretty minor criticisms for a fun little self-exploratory story.
this story is so good. im still a little torn about the endings. i really want both of them to have happened. the lulu ending feels like the "true" ending, but does that mean that slaine never gets a magic tree shadow? do other magical things happen to her instead? do lulu and slaine move into each other? do they get married??? do they go on magical adventures???? what happens after??
the story is hella cute, both endings are nice in different ways! i love it a lot <3
