Nice concept, good music and smooth graphics. However, the gameplay seems slightly cumbersome or skewed. The initial level is in my humble opinion too difficult and should be reduced to allow players to familiarize themselves to the game's controls, overall feel and obstacles. If the gameplay could be revised (not an easy feat I imagine) then the game could be so much better than it is in its current iteration.
While keyboard mechanics work when setting to keyboard (while already being set to keyboard) for the keys to start working, the speed is very fast for an introductory start to the game. I second the need for a 'practice' go understand the rhythm of the keypress and the action. Otherwise it appears to be akin to an old 90s game made unresponsive due to too-fast clock speed.
Also noted that the game does parse checks to determine if the player is pressing certain keys. This adds to the timing confusion of pressing keys as there is a seemingly inconsistent delay as actions are based on game parse speed and not when buttons were pushed (within a microsecond).
