Should a game jam host be able to submit their own game? It feels like there's a conflict of interest here.
Of the game itself: I thought it had a nice progression system and it was good for some cathartic fun, but I felt there wasn't enough feedback on the logic behind destroying planets. Is it based on the size of the object you knock into it? Do you deal damage over time or is it only destroyed if you meet a threshold with a single attack? I think adding some cracks to weakened objects would help convey this system better.
Also, I personally could not stand the music, all atonal bleeps and no melody. It sounds like the kind of thing I made before I learned music theory.
Sorry if this came across as harsh, I see something great here and would just like to bring it to its full potential.
Hey! Thanks for the comment!
For me, I can post a game because everybody have the same level for the rating period, and I didn't choose the winner myself.
For the feedback, yes, lot of people say me that, maybe I'm going to upgrade the game, I don't know for now.
For the music, I just want to try to made something but it's very bad xD I'm not a compositor and I discover a new tool.
And thanks again for the comment! It's always nice to have some feedback
I liked your idea of destroying the universe with physics! Maybe some more hazards would make the game more challenging an entertaining. Good job!
I was a little confused about what to do at the start but then I realized that I just need to ram into everything. Nice game.
