What is a Game Jam

RPG Maker Game of the Month Jam is a monthly game jam for RPG Maker games only. We know how to make RPG Maker games as well and wanted to create a jam only for them. We accept amateur or simple short games (like 5-60 minutes) although if average session is up to 12 hours, also submit the game anyway. Inspiration of all itch.io game jams including Indie Game Making Contest, especially The Game Awards and Academy Awards.

What is a Special Theme

Special Theme is a monthly game jam theme that specialize the events. It will be ranked only for the founder.  You can submit your game even without the special theme.

6. Pixel Art's Choice (founder and judge ranked only)
7. Special Theme: Halloween (founder ranked only)

There is no prize. The winner will be posted on Twitter and Discord Server.

You know the rules: 

1. If you use external resources, then you must give credit in your game.
2. Games have to be 3+ to 16+ rating (16+ violence, sexual references, and strong language is fine.)
3. Prototypes or demos are allowed.
4. Only games with 5+ minutes duration.
5. Two games can be submitted.
6. RPG Maker 2000, 2003, XP, VX, VX Ace or MV. Also Wolf RPG Editor is allowed.
7. Other engines are not allowed, including: Construct, Gamemaker Studio, Unity...
