I am thinking of a way to make it more obvious about being spotted vs. being heard by coworkers. Right now ! = spotted (raises sus level, making managers appear more often), and ? = heard but means you are sneaking properly. Sprinting will always get you spotted, but worth it in some cases. Once the leaderboards are added, there will be runs for the least times caught by co-workers.
I hope that clears some of it up! Thank you for playing!
The art is really lovely, and such a creative concept! Really suits the 1-button theme. As for feedback, maybe if the charge would not cancel your current action you could chain actions a bit smoother. Just a suggestion that would increase the flow of the game for me personally. Great job!
That's great feedback; thank you! I did the stop when you charge again to help stop before the manager catches you, to add a little more control if you will. I was thinking about making the movement based on holding the charge, so you can sneak the whole way, walk, or sprint, but then when you let go, it stops you.
I see, that also makes sense of course. But maybe in the case of charging not stopping your action, you would still implicitly stop on a single tap of spacebar since the action would be so short?
I love this game's art, vibe and ambience. Everything from an artstyle perspective is so nice, so well executed. I also love the little details with the cardboard box and stuff falling down, very very nice touch. Great job
Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate you taking time out of your day to give the game a shot :) I have updates on the way already to improve some of the visuals and fixing a few bugs I noticed.
very cool game and awesome art! sneaking past objects to avoid knocking them about and dashing crazy speed past doors with coffee feels good. i like that the character’s body animation gets ready to sprint as it charges up, and being able to interrupt the sprint is a nice touch too. it’s pretty amazing to do all of this in such a short time, props to you!

Interesting theme, hope work is already for you :p
The game looks very good but I had a hard time figuring how to not get spotted ^^

Very fun context :) and great use of the 1-button constraint. Congrats!
