Interesting concept but it needs a bit more work. The control is very stiff and not very intuitive. Your character's animation should be much faster. And it needs more feedback when hitting enemies, and when getting hit.

Oh wow Im amazed this is so smooth it doesnt even feel 1bit, well done!
A nice game, i had a hard time with zombies they are stressful, it gives a very good atmosphere to the game ! Also the sfx are very good!
The only small point is that the movements are not easy and are a bit slow.
I like your game, although I wasn't able to finish it. I kept getting killed by the zombies. :)
I like the world-building and atmosphere in this game. Love the inclusion of an intro with voiceover, really puts you in the shoes of the character you are playing. However, I felt as if the player movement was a bit off and it was often difficult to maneuver certain areas. I also often got ambushed by zombies which seemed to be a death sentence because the gun didn't do much damage to them or took too long to reload. The game also definitely has more than two colors. Other than that, solid idea and great work producing this!
I like the atmosphere and idea behind this game! I do have a few comments for improvement, though:
- The player movement feels off, and it's because pressing D (right) moves the character according to HIS right, not our right. As a result, unless I was facing upwards it never felt like I was going the direction I wanted to go when other games have set the precedent of moving directionally relative to the player.
- The gun feels very weak. I had a very hard time even making it past the first group of zombies because it would take like three shots to get one of them. It'd be nice if there were a better indicator of how the gun works (bullet trails?) or a health bar just so I knew about how tough those guys were.
- I wish the player character had more frames and animation, because he felt a little jarring to look at.
- This is not 1-Bit in the slightest. This is fully coloured, which does go against the idea behind the jam.
It gives me big SAS Zombie Assault vibes from my days back on Ninja Kiwi, and for that I like it!
Thanks for creating.
Thank you for all the feedback! You make some great points! Also, I know this isn't 1-bit, but I was looking through all the requirements for the jam, and it didn't mention it, so I figured why not and created a game for it! I'm glad I did, but it of course would have been better if I was able to get some 1-bit assets. Thank you for playing!
Voice guidance and atmosphere are great! Overall, a fun little game! My only feedback is the movement is a little wonky feeling. :^)
This kind of games isn't my type (zombie, spooky athmosphere, etc.), but I liked very much the voice guidance. For me the control is a bit difficult, because I have 3 monitors and the mouse sometimes just gone to the other monitor and It stopped controling the player. Maybe you can turn of the mouse cursor when the game starts.
I think this game has quite a bit of potential! I like the voice guidance throughout the game, you don't see a lot of people doing that in jams.
On the feedback side of things: I think the player pivoting should be more centered, because it kinda feels off.
Considering how many times I've been eaten, I must be very tasty!
I really like atmosphere of this game
It is interesting but too hard for me
i love the main menu and the feeling of the game, unfortanetly i were unable to move with the player. the concept is very nice and i would love to test the game out when you fix that but! tip for further projects: if the game is made with unity you can set the sprite to "no point filter", that prevents the grafics to be so blurry like the ammo in the corner. keep it up
