The narrative is great. The music fits perfectly. Is there more than 1 ending though? Nice work!

Thank you so much! <3 I really appreciate you saying so, writing and music were the only things I felt confident doing haha

I didn't have the full development period to work on this game, so I went with one ending - in keeping with the theme of "ending with nothing" I decided to make it a sadder one!

Well, it is actualy a good game. Narrative flow is almost perfect (more conditionals would be nice, like when mum tells you to talk with Jake, but you've already feel like you discussed that matter, or you already did play with your sis and mum asks you to play with her etc)
Problems: it's much bigger then it should be. I mean the file. And it installs! (with this graphics and content it whould be like 15MB max) It's not about gameplay, it's about 'marketing' and accessability. Also I would advise not to forget about your game's page design and screenshots. It is important.
Overall, the game I liked. There is no bugs, it is written very well, music is nice, art is ascetic, but effective. Good job.

Hi again! Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback, I really appreciate it <3

I'm glad you liked the flow of the narrative and the writing (narrative design and writing is my main experience - I'm very new to everything else!). I'd love to add more conditionals as I had fun writing the few that were there. Sadly my work schedule really limited my availability before the deadline, but maybe I'll expand it one day after the contest period!

And thanks for your notes about the page - it's my first time exporting from this software and uploading to itch, so I've definitely hit some bumps along the way! Learned a lot from this experience for sure. I'm very glad you liked the game overall <3

Really cool game!

I tried to get a somewhat good ending and I failed: is there more than one ending?

Developer(+1)

Thank you! <3

There is only one ending actually. Given the time constraint I had (only had a day and a half to make this one haha), I decided to go with a single ending, and aim for the theme of "ending with nothing" - to me, this inspired a more tragic story for the character.

The game doesn't work. Error: "RPGVXAce RTP is required to run this game."

Fix it and I'll gladly play it. I invite you to play my game as well! 🥸

Hi there! Thanks for letting me know (you can tell I'm new to this!). I found the problem and got a friend to test this version before updating, but that should be it now! <3
