Very good game! Very creative the use of only spacebar to walk, the gameplay is cool too, I only was a little slow to understand how to properly hit the slimes, I missed a lot haha

Congrats for your submission, well done!

Thank you, i know the arrows are a bit janky. I added them in the wrong method so they only hit the slimes when they walk towards them ‘~’

Cool music, creative use of both limitations and the music was epic. Good job!

The game respect the jam theme (1 bit and 1 button) and assets are very nice !
Too bad we require a version of Java and download 200mo, it makes it less accessible.

I'm not going to install a whole new version of java to play a .jar  file. Sorry but I nope'd right out of there.

edit: OpenJDK was a bad idea

had to download java then i get this error when trying to start the game. not sure if its my java file or your game file?

ERROR: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again.

sadly, i don’t know what causes this. Try moving the .jar file out of the “/res” into the root folder. Then double-click the .jar. Sorry for the trouble ‘~’

doesnt seem to work, guess ill miss out on the game :.(

Looked it up on SO, it’s probably because i’ve an older Java-Version on my System edit: nevermind, it works with the new version aswell

i  reinstalled java and redownloaded your game. but its the same :L

Ok, i’ve uploaded a debug-version with a different assigned JRE. If the .bat or .exe do not work, then im sadly out of ideas…

did not work, maybe its something wrong on my end. would be great if someone else tested. xD

tested it on another machine, same error. It’s possibly because i used openjdk to develop it. Try installing that. (if you still want to play it ofc.) edit: found it, OpenJDKs Librarys are different then Oracles… the next Version will include an installer

well i did download openjdk 16 and set the path to it, followed a tutorial. i still get the same error. xD

the .jar is online now. The .exe is broken. Thanks for your patience man (i dont know if the game is worth the trouble)
