I really enjoyed the graphics. The bright cartoony colors were really pleasing. The distinction between the background and the animals was also nice. The jellyfish was really having a lot of fun from the looks of things.
The animations are a bit odd. They looked a bit like the duck was flying. Also for the swim-up and swim-down animations they didn't trigger frequently. They only triggered if you had 0 horizontal speed. It would be better if they would get triggered when velocity's vertical component was higher than the horizontal component.
The music was really nice. The sound effects did get quite repetitive. When you have sound effects that play frequently you can either make multiple variations or - that's the easier option - randomize the sound effect pitch (for example between 0.9 and 1.1 times the original pitch).
Also, not sure what was up with the sharks. They only spawned from one spot and in one direction. That didn't really make them all that difficult to beat.
Additional points for including a duck as the main protagonist +1. Good job!
Awww a duck! <3 great little game! I think this is a great base to build on, maybe some more dangers could make it more challenging . I absolutely love the pixel art, it looks super cute! <3

Low score for the music/sounds which were really generic. This game was easy and fun but maybe too easy? Cute, simple concept.
The art is really good, but adding more features and mabye levels would make the game better!

Great game! Loved playing it but think it'd fit better as an endless high-score kind of game with ramping difficulty/increasing speed. All other aspects were cool!

This is the best game I have played so far. First the only bad thing, the shark should spawn in a random range and spawn on the other side as well maybe and maybe move a little slower. Now on to the infinitely good, The music and sound effects are wonderful and fit perfectly and sound grate. The art looks wonderful, I love the art stile and think how it looks is beon wonderful. The animations are also awesome. The gameplay is simple but fun, I would add an endless mode if you change the shark. Everything about this is grate I hope you do well.
Aw thanks! :) Appreciate all the feedback about the sharks - they were something I added last minute, but I'm planning to polish it up later on to make the game more difficult!
I think that if you make games like this you could most likely do something as an indie dev or something like that, it was wonderful. I should have made this a little more clear that the sharks were not bad, they were just the weakest link which is a compliment for how they looked and worked. (:
This was really entertaining. The shark should spawn in random spots though, because I could just avoid the spot he spawned to make it really easy. I got 123
a duck deep in sea with dolphin sharks had me laughing, still trying to get more than 80
I got 85! That was pretty fun, I think I'd like it even more if the sharks started swimming in faster and faster (or maybe they do and I died too quick to notice lol). Nice entry!
Haha, I haven't played a game like this in a long time, loved it. At first I dodged the jellyfish thinking that they would sting me :).
Love the art and the sound. The shark looked weird but everything else looked amazing. Great entry.

The art and music were very cute. The background was very impressive, and the swimming up animation was probably my favorite thing.
I felt it was too easy to avoid the sharks, but at the same time it was too punishing to get hit by the sharks. Maybe having lives like in Super Mario would have encouraged me to be a little more daring in my fish collecting.
