I love the details!

I loved the way your art had details  varying from biggest to the tiniest,  the mid door has tiniest carvings on it  and even the character is wearing a suit /( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Uhh, that's so cool! Love how each of these round ornaments are different but still fitting one theme. The details in these are crazy!

Gotta agree with Alejandro TC that the rest is rather plain compared to them, but you already explained why. I hope you still had fun participating in this jam ^^

The jam is ideal for escaping everyday life. It's a nice change of pace. I also use pictures from other people, including yours, and model them privately for myself.

It's an excellent piece, with good lighting and great sculptural skill. However, I notice that some parts are very detailed while others lack that detail, but I understand this due to time constraints.

No, you are right in your critical comment regarding the level of detail. I finished the model on the first day, and it took less than two hours. It only has two simple shaders. The columns (column arches) were simply copied afterwards. The head and hands were quickly sculpted. It's copy and paste. Then you just need a height map, apply it with a brush, and soften it. That's almost it. But that applies to everything I do just for the jam. It's always just one day's work, and sometimes it goes quickly and sometimes it takes more hours, but I don't invest any more than that. That's why my submissions may be missing that certain something, because there's not really a lot of work and love behind them.

this looks really cool
