A lovely, sometimes adorable, other times gloomy little game that hit a bit close to home for me, and made me tear up as I played. I found myself identifying with Maya, and her endearing animations coupled with those of the environments kept me pressing onward.
My only complaints on the game are related to the responsiveness to player inputs; twice, I had to restart the game near the beginning because an animation didn't play when interacting with an object, and thus an item didn't spawn. Some other interactions felt a bit awkward, but not enough to discourage my play.
Small annoyances aside, the game was well worth the roughly half hour I spent with it, and I hope that the developers continue to put their strengths in storytelling to good use.
