Dialogue 3-D is a relevant and incisive commentary on American discourse about Nazis and violence.
Building this game on top of Wolfenstein 3-D was a superb choice. It invokes our history of (at least thematically) clear opposition to nazis and is a reminder that we're okay with shooting nazis from the safety of a computer game.
The prompts contain questions that we have likely all seen at this point, but it's in the way that these prompts interrupt the core gameplay that the real message comes through. By spending time asking and answering these questions, we're hesitating in the face of an imminent threat.
Nazis don't stop to ask if it's okay to advocate for genocide, so why are we hesitant to support someone who punched a nazi?
