making a visual novel where the player has no choice options to solve puzzles, change how the narrative goes or affect how anything goes an any way is just writing a book with extra steps

i only played for an hour then got bored but that's already way too long to give no proper choice options other than whether you want to name your main character "Walter White" or not.
