Loved the premise and you set up the scares really well! The sound design was on point and the lighting definitely nails the "3am small town" vibe. And that cat almost gave me a heart attack! I also really loved everything about the garbage truck. Driving it feels appropriately clunky, the garbage bags jiggle around really nicely and having garbage bags and bins gives you just enough to think about as you try to make it out of town.

The letters/delivery of the story was a bit underwhelming, as I didn't even realize I could read the letters to begin with and when I did the information was just so slow that every letter alone felt uninteresting. IMO, it would have been much creepier if the player was at least somewhat aware of what they're doing and just trying to leave town before it "gets red".

Having said that, I think you definitely did nail that "something's off about this town" vibe with everything else. The sounds, lighting, minor touches like the graffiti, knife, etc all add so much. Amazing job, thank you for making this!
