Devlog 5 - Update on the way

Tiny Terra Spaces
A browser game made in HTML5

Hey everyone!

I wanted to give you a quick update to keep you in the loop on what's been happening. I had hoped to make more progress by now, but I've been spending most of my time looking after my son during the summer holidays. It's been a blast spending this time together. I manage to squeeze in an hour here and there to work, mostly checking emails and doing a bit of art, so I'm pleasantly surprised I've made any progress at all. I'm grateful for it.

Since my last update, I've managed to finish a couple more buildings: a barley field and a stable, which is pretty cool.

Next, I plan to work on a tool to showcase the prices and benefits of each building within the game. After that, I'll update the demo to include these new Scottish buildings. I've also purchased new music to fit the game's theme, and I'm excited to share these updates with everyone. I felt it was essential to have a stronger demo that better showcases my ongoing work on the game, since the version currently of the demo is the game jam version. Stay tuned for that.

From this next update onwards, all future updates will be behind a paywall.

I also have plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the project to raise funds for myself to continue working on it as long as possible, and to support my artist in creating even better assets. So stay tune for that and I would really appreciate your support when the time comes if you can please.

I'm really excited about what's next for the project. More buildings, more functionality that sticks to the core principles that I have already put in place so overall is going in the right direction.

If you'd like to support the development of the game, please consider making a purchase, donation, joining my Patreon, or donating on Ko-fi. Your support means a lot to me.
