It's been a while, hasn't it? Time for a big update about The Vikmo Show...
I need to be real with you all about Chapter 2. It didn't connect like I hoped it would, and that's been eating at me. Here's the hard truth - The Vikmo Show was always meant to be this huge 6-chapters game. I've poured my heart into planning over 80% of it - most gameplay mechanics, every character arc, all the weird little details that made this world special to me.
This wasn't just some game to me. It was the passion project. That's why this hurts so much to say...
After a few weeks of wrestling with it, I've made a tough decision.
I'm stopping development on the remaining Vikmo Show chapters.
Not because I want to, but because it's unreasonable. Four more chapters at this scale? I'd be chasing a dream that's frankly too big for where I'm at right now.
Some things you should know:
All those unused ideas? I'm keeping them close - this universe isn't done with me yet
One day, when I'm ready to do it right, Vikmo will come back in some form
Right now, I need to work on something that won't eat me alive
A simpler game
Nico Bennett has been hiding a secret: a slow-spreading infection from his father’s workplace the APCA (Anomaly Phenomena Containment Agency), a clandestine facility studying otherworldly Anomalies.
When he and his twin brother Luca arrive for an emergency visit, a catastrophic containment breach occurs. The staff vanishes, four deadly Anomalies escape, and Nico’s condition spirals out of control.
Now, Luca must navigate the facility’s ruins—trapping Anomalies, solving environmental puzzles, and fighting when he must—while Nico guides him via headset, struggling to stay coherent as the infection takes hold.
Top-down action-horror with combat—outsmart Anomalies or face deadly consequences.
Trap & Contain: use different types of gadgets in order to fight the Anomalies which can be upgraded the more you progresses through the game
