Q: When will the full game be released?
I estimate at least one more year, perhaps two, of development from my side, assuming funding goes swiftly. It could take more time if I have trouble finding the money. As I work with several contractors, development can be impacted by external factors that are out of my control. I also work as a psychologist and my patients take priority over game dev.
Q: How can I support the full game?

Q: How can I support the game if I don’t have money? =(

Tell everyone about this cool visual novel you found, why you like it, why it’s important.
If you’re in any servers, sites, or communities that you think might like the game, talk about it. Stream it, share screenshots, make memes, fanart, literally anything that’ll get more eyeballs on it helps.
And if you like the game… tell me. I legitimately cannot know if this game is something people want unless someone tells me.
Q: How long will the full game be?
A: The script currently sits as ~300k words long*, which is almost 30 hours. The script is already fully written, pending proper editing by a native English speaker. I constantly edit it myself and improve it as time goes on, so it’s possible that the final word count will be slightly less or more.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: 15-25 USD. Depends on various factors such as if there’ll be a Kickstarter, publisher deal, etc.
Q: Will the full game ever be free?
No, but there will be sales and I might do some giveaways and plenty of community copies as I want to have it reach as many people who need a story like this as possible.
I’ve invested thousands of dollars into the game fully not expecting it to sell more than 100 copies, honestly, and I don’t dream of it ever recouping costs. The price is more of a ‘I need money to survive’ thing.
Q: What’s the age rating?
A: 17+ due to depictions of drug usage, swearing, sexual/suggestive conversations and heavy themes such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, and psychological abuse.
Q: What languages will it be available in?
A: Right now only English is confirmed. Brazilian Portuguese only if I have funds left after the complete development. Any other languages could mean tens of thousands of dollars in investments due to the huge script length =(
Q: Why are there so few original backgrounds?
A: Doce Fim has over 80 locations that require backgrounds. Commissioning them all would mean thousands and thousands of dollars!
Q: Will there be a full original soundtrack?
A: We currently have 4 original tracks composed by various artists! More depend on funding. An OST is very, very low on my priorities list.
Currently, my dream is to afford a theme song with vocals, sang by Komi’s VA.
Q: Will there be voice acting?
A: My dream is to have partial voice acting with key lines (such as CG scenes) voiced. However this is going to cost thousands of dollars. If funding that is impossible, then the game will have barks and some few important lines voiced.
If you really enjoyed the VAs and want to see more, support the game! On Ko-fi, you can leave a little note saying that you’d like your donation to go towards more voice acting, and I’ll reserve it for that end.
Q: Will the side characters receive sprites?
A: Noel and Teo are the only characters I want to have sprites and I was able to afford them; everyone else appears too little and is not relevant to the story to warrant custom designs and sprites.
An idea for a possible Kickstarter is to let supporters choose a character to receive a sprite, or even have their OC as one.
Q: Will there be a Kickstarter?
A: Kickstarter is my very, very last option as it’s not available in Brazil.
Sadly all my attempts to reach publishers have lead to ghosting or ‘no’s. All the grants I applied to also rejected the game.
This is why I need your help to fund the game, little by little.
Q: Will there be DLC?
A: I have ideas and a script written for a DLC featuring Lake and Amy. It becoming a reality depends on funding; it’s very very low priority.
Q: Will there be NSFW content?
A: Not in the base game, but if it sells well and there’s demand for it I have ideas for a NSFW Lion novel or a separate standalone game featuring him and Syun. Or I thought of making it a Kickstarter stretch goal. If it gets the game funded, I’ll even write kinky porn for y’all.
