Alpha 0.4
Major changes:
- Adds the option to connect to a privately hosted server for AI inference instead of using the local GPU. This isn't a commerical corporate API, and nothing sent there is viewed, logged, or used for training
- Adds a market crate where you can sell herbs and ores for daily changing prices. I will expand on this feature later
- Adds ore. Sellable on the market. Can be found in the mountains and in caves
- Adds the high mountain biome
- Changes mountain/dungeon wall sprites to 2.5D. I tried using these for buildings but they make them feel quite cramped and less cozy
- Grass is now animated and more natural looking
- Save files are now 99% smaller
- Function calling for NPCs should be improved
- Fixes many bugs
- The cap for dialog input has been increased to 1,500 characters again
- The long-term memory system for NPCs actually works now
- NPCs now have a much better sense of time
- There are now directional sprites for all NPCs and player models. You can toggle these in the settings
- QoL changes
