PATHAWAYA downloadable mao mao for Windows and macOS

Prototype 1:
- Forest level layout prototype: trees, mushrooms, grass sprites.
- Character one-side sprite.
- Tiny non-enemy slime sprite.
Prototype 2:
- Added main menu (credits, options etc.)
- Forest level layout: it has certain architecture to walk through;
- Emerald dungeon layout prototype;
- Character four-side sprites, walking animation.
- Slime enemies sprites and animation.
- Combat system – you are able to kill enemies
- Also added some UI – healthbar with character icon and sword icon
Vertical slice:
- New forest level layout – new architecture and new sprites
- A lot of new sprites for a forest and especially for a beautiful corner
- New chest sprite, new bow sprite
- New emerald dungeon level layout – new architecture
- Crystal monsters enemies prototypes
- Fairy ally which is follows you in the dungeon.
- Possibility to finish game – exit added in the end of emerald dungeon level
Vertical slice 2:
- Pressure plates “puzzle” for emerald dungeon level
- Story piece added with a big scroll showing an introduction before first level starts
- Escape button now leads back to main menu
- Added a pick up and bring quest for giant Mao Mao
- “To be continued” final menu after reaching the finish with “play again” and “main menu” buttons
- Press F2 to jump into beautiful corner
- New sprite for dungeon entrance
Playable version (playtest version):
- Added a knockback (hitting marker) for the main character and for enemies as well
- Implemented bow in a combat system, now it is possible to shoot arrows into enemies and also you have an aim
- Also added bowstring tension mechanic – the longer you tense the bowstring, the shot will be more damageable.
- UI for bowstring tension mechanic – purple stripe
- Story improved – added dialogue boxes with dialogues.
- Added slight screen darkening between scenes
- Mud monsters new animation
- Sound design for everything
