Update To Difficulty (and bugfixes)
First off, thank you for soo much support for the game. I've gotten a ton of comments and over a thousand downloads in just one day! That's so much more than I was ever expecting! So again, thank you to every person who commented, left a donation, or even just played the game, it means a lot.
However, after reading through a lot of comments, it seems that the game has had a frustrating effect on people. So, lets fix that with a small update!
Changes
- You Struggle out MUCH faster
- Replaced mashing struggle system with holding key down (this may cause some unintended bugs: let me know if you find any!)
- Reduced attack cooldown (attack faster)
- No longer captured upon load in
- Jail cell has less hp
- Enemy projectiles are slower
- Fairy and Dullahan enemies chase you slower
- The slimes that the slime-girl summons now die in one hit
- The Slime girl attacks less frequently now
- Slime girl has longer windup on attacks
- Mana regens at a normal rate while not captured
- Struggling free now restores two HP instead of one
- Fairies + projectile Enemies now un-aggro after a certain distance
- New Tutorial Panel for attacking upwards
- Added a small note after defeating the slime girl thanking you for playing the demo :D (defeating the slime girl is the end of the current demo, the second damsel-door to the north does not open yet! It now specifies in game that it does not open, but sorry for the confusion! >_<
Bugfixes:
- Vivi no longer gets stuck after escaping from a witch leash
- Fixed some of the bugged vertical scene transitions
- Can no longer softlock self on second screen
- Red-Haired maid is now captured when you walk into her room, instead of already being freed.
- More taunting dialogue is now available when you are captured (certain ones were not playing before)
- Slime girl defeating you takes you to her room, not any random one.
- Slime Gag now shows on Vivi’s dialogue portrait
- Camera (should) now reset after beating the slimegirl
