I needed to take a moment to tell any and all reading this and give an extremely heartfelt and appreciative thank you. It's been almost a full year since I finished this project, and even longer since I decided to throw this out there to the internet, and it really reaches me in a way I never thought it would that people are still checking this out, replaying it, and even offering up their hard earned money to show support in these ridiculously expensive times. This was my first game, my first try, and I can't honestly say I expected it to be any more than one silly slightly sexy adventure for one overly amorous elf. It was a fun venture into game making that I just had to throw my personal kink into, it was a beautiful headache to make. Yet, I still get alerts of new followers, new donations, and even a lovely comment or two, and for lack of a better analogy, it's like a big warm a fuzzy hug and makes me happy to see and read. Again, a heartfelt thanks to all of you for your time, your kind words, and contributions. They mean a lot to me.
I did enjoy my down time of not bug-fixing, or figuring out where I coded wrong... or what coding is... playing other peoples games will always be more fun (and sexy) than playing my own. I'll never be crazy enough to think I'll be amazing game maker than can pay all his bills from kind hearted patrons. The one thing I know for sure is I'll never get tired of all the players. Even if I don't get the slightest bit of feedback, just watching that download number go up, knowing someone wanted to try out something I made and might be having a fun time because of it, it's a tingle up the spine, I have to admit. Your probably thinking I'm nuts for enjoying something so simple, and maybe I am, but I still appreciate every single one of em. So thank you all again.
Also, not to make any promises or announcements, but the comments, the downloads, the donations, it makes me feel like I got another one in me. The one piece of advice that really stuck with me when I started this project was "Don't make the game you want to make first, you're gonna ruin it. Make something to try things out first." With that being said, I still have the game I want to make in my head. I sent an email to my partner in crime, Titi-Artwork. I'll see how he feels about this. I don't want to make promises I can't keep, but I will say if I do try this again, this time I'll do it for the hugs!
Thank you all once again!
