Nov | Sneak Peeks, Art Updates & Progress Report

Hello everyone, happy November!

After working hard in October, I finally finished writing chapters 2&3! Thank goodness!!!! YEAH THE SCRIPTING IS DONE!!!!!!!ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)

In addition, even though life has been busy (I was so busy that I didn't have time to draw a Halloween art...), I still managed to make some progress last week. 

Here's a sneak peek:

Programming:

• Fixed some UI displays, language selection, and chapter loading bugs.
• Added image to notebook system
• Wrote some new functions
• Imported all CG and placeholder art
• Finished Chap2 (like everything except CG art)
• Added a love point system (yes, starting from chap 2, there will be some interesting endings waiting for you to explore!)

UI:

I updated the gallery and chapter selection page UI.

Gallery:

• Moved the overall content up to show more CG.

Chapter Selection:

• A while ago, when reviewing the outline, I decided to divide the story into three acts, so now the chapter selection is divided by acts:
  • Act 1: Prologue to Chapter 3
  • Act 2: Chapter 4 to Chapter 7
  • Act 3: Chapter 8 to Chapter 10
• Enabled the chapter unlocking system.

Art Progress:

• Renovated the ask-for-name screen
• Finished sprites for two new characters.

• Finished the new (semi-grown-up) illustrations for Hendrix and Edmund (2 for each ehehehehe)

• Completed drafts for about 15 CGs and about 10 small illustrations (can't wait to finish them!)

A little off-topic.

I recently recorded that I spend about 30-35 hours on this game every week. I was shocked when I saw this number hahaha.(ᕑᗢᓫ∗)˒

But I really love this game, so I want to finish it as soon as possible! I hope to finish this update before the end of November (or early December), and then I can take a break in December(maybe)... and then I hope to finish the remaining two acts in 2024.

Also, I've been receiving some donations for this game... I'm not sure how to contact you on itch.io, but I really appreciate it! THANK YOU!!!
