The concept of Recorded_003_ is partly inspired by The Backrooms, with its shady, nonsensical environment… We added a couple of spiders, a monster with a rather unsettling teleportation ability, and we had our little mix.
Atmosphere and AI were important parts of achieving our goal of creating a heavy feeling.
On this version delivered for the Scream JAM 2023, we have AIs that can still be perfected and a flashlight that’s a little too light.
