Whew! A lot of stuff is going on here. Since my last update “Inventory Update” I’ve been working on several topics to bring at least a “closed game loop”. I didn’t want to upload any build yet because menus were off and it’s a pity that you had to use ALT+F4 to close the build so that’s the first point of this UPDATE!
I also set a goal for this prototype. I started playing world of warcraft around 2007 since then it’s been one of my loves forever. That’s why I wanted to drive in that direction. Obviously I’m not going to try to recreate all the aspects but some of them will.
Yes, there is a way to load the Playground level and back from it. Nothing much special but it’s enough to give it a try.
I created a basic system to handle spawn points over the level. You will be able to find enemies all the time and enjoy the pain of dying by a Troll or a Wizard.
It’s not a perfect system but allow me to throw you enemies over the time. Lots of enemies. Probably you will die first until you manage to kill them all.
I’ve been studying how to integrate Visual Scripting using part of the code without much effort and check if I notice some downsides. Quite a challenge to work with a prototype already built with C# and try to extract certain points to visual scripting but, I’ll continue my research. (IDLE, CHASE, ATTACK, DEATH) states are almost integrated.
