if you've played the demo, you must find the game pretty dour. if you've found the first ending (which, like all the endings, restarts the game), then you at may surmise that not all the endings are dreary, and in fact many are happy endings. and the dour endings are at least entertaining. the rest of the story is coming once animations for scenes are complete. as of yesterday 110ish/1000ish animations have been completed, and the player is getting redesigned.
