I’m pleased to announce that I’ve begun work on Chapter 14: Collective Bargaining, which is in development at a current script size of around 1400 lines, though around half of them are empty so my brain can enjoy there being spaces in the .rpy file. In that vein, I’ve just released Version 1.1.11 Pre-Alpha EX-1 of Echoes: A Lucid9 Fangame, which contains this in-development initial version of the chapter. Although quick-starting at the beginning of Chapter 14 with all proper variables set is not currently available, you can check it out if you have a save close to the end of Chapter 13 without too many issues, though it’s currently both unpolished and unfinished and may have issues in that regard.
A certain illusory entity who has appeared in Rui’s dreams in the past said a few things that were out of character, and her replies to them were a bit narratively inconsistent, so I also applied a minor fix to the few lines where those issues were present.
As always, I’ve included screenshots of what I’ve been working on below.
