Game Mechanics Changes:
- Negative critical casts are able to cast spells by using cast-on-crit perks.
- All unlocks now cost 1 gold to activate the first time (removed costs).
- Added an experience bonus based on the number of unlocks bought.
- Slight enraging change for longer-living monsters: monsters slightly enrage every 20 seconds, making their attacks slightly more difficult (individual to the monster type). From 7 minutes into the run, they will get a random elite modifier spell whenever they lived longer than 120 seconds.
Upgrading and Unlock System Changes:
- Finished the new upgrading system.
- Reworked the unlock system internally (Can add new unlocks much faster and with multiple conditions).
- Nerved the starting stats of the player (significantly harder if playing without any upgrades).
- Added 4 new unlocks.
- Some relics have had their values reduced (mostly early game dmg relics).
- Added extra gold bonus based on how long you survived.
- Removed the forced lightning tag on the apprentice class (Instead starts with 1 extra lvl).
New Spells and Status Ailments:
- Added a new special status ailment: freeze.
- In the process of making all spells unique and get something special on legendary rarity, the following additions were made:
- Sword Spin: Your swords spin an additional time.
- Chilling Trail: Freezes the first target. Freezing the same enemy repeatedly lowers the freeze duration.
- Chain Shock: Triggers a knockback shockwave (And keeps dmg per remaining target).
- Discharge: Magnetizes enemies to itself, scaling with knockback modifiers.
- Piercing Arrow: Your arrows return to you at the end of their lifetime. If they already return, then instead they gain +1 fork.
- Lightning Laser: Large laser range extension beyond the target (scales with AoE) (This one lost AoE below Legendary).
- Flaring Presence: A fireball orbits around your aura, damaging enemies it touches.
- Blazing Spot: Explodes at the end of the duration. Explosion deals 2 times the damage.
- Icicle Ruination: While having the maximum number of icicles spawn a damaging icy aura around you (No longer gets +1 pierce, maximum reduced by 5).
- Iceshot: Fork into 4 instead (Watching performance...).
- Flash Freeze: Added a new utility spell.
Map Changes:
- Increased the scaling difficulty of the second map: Hell (Starts out the same but gets harder faster). Should be comparable with Grassland middle trials. There is now a Rank system for maps: Hell has a scaling difficulty: C rank.
- Hell map starts out with a gold bonus and gets more gold per trial.
- Grassland lowered gold bonus per trial (Due to getting extra gold based on run duration, one progresses pretty fast).
