Hello my lovelies,
Although the days have been difficult recently I have continued working on the game. It helped me to switch off and concentrate when I had nothing to do, and was feeling miserable and extremely down. I guess different people grieve in different way.
If you are worried about the game, I'll re-assure you - the update is still coming. It has been taking more time on top of what was happening because i had added additional features, like extended exploration which will feature a few randomized events in each category, some of those will be funny and comical while other just a bit more serious., changed the opening of the game to be longer and divided into events in 4 days before the player can finally choose which husband route they want to pick. This is because i wanted to highlight the characters more too, so you don't just end up being forced to pick blankly so you have a better image of what they can expect (or not). I have also fixed some plot holes that initially I have forgotten to write.
There is the opening video that will play one time when you start your new game - there is one known error there, I don't know how to code the video to skip if you want it, so the player will have to just sit through it - I'm sorry about that!
I have also been working with Replica AI voice systems to get the entire VN voiced, unless its not something you are bothered, then you can switch off that option.
Also, I have sorted out file compression so the game size has been reduced significantly to mare 156mb (currently) compared to previous hefty 500mb.
I am just warning you that, don't expect LoS to be sex driven, its story and love driven. I guess my mums passing got me realize I still want this to be a furry novel with pictures more than a dating sim.
I am saying this because somebody did complain on Itch in the comments that it's too much story.
I haven't done a word count yet but with all of the changes and extensive writing I am kind of guessing the update 0.30 will be published with close to 200.000 words.
