First of all, I just want to show off our newest character! If you're on our Twitter or Patreon, you've already seen him.
Meet Corey, everyone! He's a spunky corgi with a temper, but a kind heart. He's your local bartender who'll make you a mean cocktail and charm your pants off in the process.
Corey will be introduced in Build 3! My current plan is to have him join Vin as a prominent side character. Vin will be more active in Darrell's story while Corey will be more active in Chester's.
With the corgi aside, I also have a rather somber announcement to make.
There's been a recent shake-up in my personal life and I just want to fill everyone in on what's happening. A beloved coworker of mine passed away suddenly a few days ago. He was a good friend and a great mentor. I'll be missing him dearly.
For those who don't know, I work for a very small company for my day job. We only have four employees now. This leaves a big void in our workflow and I have to take on a lot of his responsibilities for the time being.
All-in-all, this will not cause ChoPro to go on hiatus. Build 3 is in production and our team is still working on various projects. Everything is in motion and I don't want to stop our momentum. That said, things may slow down. My goal was to get a review copy ready by the end of May and to have Build 3 publicly released by June. Now, I'm not certain if we can hit those goals.
I always want to be upfront and transparent with our readers, so I felt the need to talk about what's been going on and how this may affect our progress.
