Build 1

Hello everyone! This is Calvin, the creator of Cleaved and welcome to our Devlog. 

Cleaved's release has been a long time coming and I'm very happy to announce that our first build will be dropping today, the 11th of April 2023.

Cleaved follows the story of a prestigious scientist who finds themselves torn from their reality amidst the meltdown of their work. Assume the identity of this scientist as you experience the unpredicted aftermath of there work, finding yourself thrust into a new world that would never seem possible by our own scientific standards. 

Our story will explore themes of adventure and camaraderie, self discovery, love and romance and healing from past trauma. Aside from this, know the game is 18+ for a reason. There will be mature themes and topics featured in this game and will feature NSFW content with its characters, specifically homosexual relations. 

Currently the first build is available for everyone, and you can find the teams respective socials, as well as, the novel's official twitter page (see below) in our bio if you'd like to have a better source for updates, news and announcements. We are currently working on setting up the Patreon and, as such, we will announce what the respective tiers will get you in a future update. This is not a requirement by any means, but anyone wanting to become a Patron please know you will be a massive help in creating and releasing builds on a more consistent basis, and you will have my eternal gratitude for it.  

The game is still in development and will have repeated updates to expand on the world, to give you the full story of Cleaved. 

For our streamer, content creation, and/or let's players wanting to give this game a go, I am trying to set up a streamer mode for future builds that will censor the NSFW visual content to make it easier on your end but we will update this feature as and when this content appears in future builds.

I'd also like to extend a big thank you to my team for all the long hours and hard work they put in so far, its truly left me awestruck on how something I planned on making years ago that was stuck on paper has now become a realised story that I can post out there. I'd also like to thank the folks who offered to beta-test for the demo as well, as you've been a big help in setting up this version of the release as well as helping see where I can get in my own head too much so I can go back and improve.
