I’m thrilled to announce that I’m partnering with Knave of Cups to bring Her Odyssey to print! Jen and Ayo, the founders of Knave of Cups, have created an all-new layout and custom art for the cover and interiors, as well as a themed playlist, which you can check out here.
You can buy a physical copy of Her Odyssey from the Knave of Cups online store starting May 5th. The first print run will be a special limited edition with a risograph cover - a process that’s fascinating to watch, by the way - and future print runs will be digital print.
So what does this mean for you? Well, even if you aren’t interested in owning a physical copy of Her Odyssey, you’ll be able to download a PDF of the updated version with the new layout and art very soon. There have been no changes to the text, except for an added reference to my forthcoming SRD, Aspire, which draws deeply from the mechanical principles I set forth in Her Odyssey. (If you’ve ever wanted to create your own narrative TTRPG, I encourage you to check out Aspire when it debuts in April!)
I’m truly grateful for the warm reception that Her Odyssey has received over the past year or so, and I’m so excited to bring my first and most well-known game to new audiences! Thank you so much for joining me on this journey.
