You know, our caveman used to be pretty responsive when turning from one direction to another. Yes, you got it right: running all the way to the left and then... Suddenly running to the right with no slowdowns or friction. This allows players easier plays as you can avoid rocks with precision, keeping turning left/right.
So in this new version, it's no more like that: when you turn direction, you will be slightly braking until you reach speed 0, and then you'll turn in the other direction. More fair, less easy.
