Welcome back I'm Hayden McCormack one of the Game Designers for Son of a Gecko and the person primarily running the Itch.Io page. This week the team finished the game and are all moving onto final polishes! As always, our builds are available on the main page and if you like what you see, please fill out the feedback forms found in the download post. Due to the singular focus on finishing things up, this devlog will be a lot shorter than previous as all the disciplines were generally focusing on a singular thing. As always, I hope you look forward to our full release on December 8th. (Unfortunately, due to the nature of this final week we don't have any exciting images or gifs to share but look forward to the final devlog next week to see images and gifs from the full release!)
This week the artists have all put their focuses on the final animations for the game ready for release. These include the final running, attacking, idle, and death animations. As well as final passes for the VFX.

This week the designers were focused on ensuring the final balance tests and bug removals ready for next week's release as well as the creation of our trailers which will be released mid-next week.

Our Programmers have focused on implementing the final sets of code and scripts to the game to ensure everything works well and have focused on optimization.
