Hey all,
So for those of you following over here, I wanted to drop you a quick note and point to some changes posted over here. I'm not gonna make this a long post because there's plenty of things to read if you want more information.
Straight Itch.io Page Overhaul
So the official page for Straight!? has been updated to reflect the changes in game development. Since v021 was released and ended the game story, the next step in development will focus on the revamp and I wanted the page to reflect that. As such, the game description has been updated and three 3 screenshots have been added from the demo (attached). I've also posted the main menu video for the revamp that includes licensed music.
Straight!? Revamp Demo
So the official free demo of the game revamp is now posted here. It's been posted on my Patreon site for awhile but I needed to overhaul things over here before I could really post it on itch. The new demo is only the first day of the revamped game and includes massive image updates (attached), as well as sound effects, and music. I just posted v0.02 of the revamp yesterday on my Patreon page and it's available to $5 supporters and above. It'll be posted over here on 11/22 . 3 weeks after Patreon release). If you want more download mirrors for the revamp, you can also check out the free post on my Patreon site here. Development will now focus on the revamp, following the story outlined in the original version. If you enjoyed the original version of the game, I think you'll enjoy the revamp. It has a completely different feel to it and the visuals blow the old version out of the water.
Rate the Game
Also, if you haven't rated the game over here, if you get a few minutes to do that, I'd really appreciate it. I don't market this much and really depend on word of mouth more than anything. Rating the game and activity here really helps move the game up on the list on the website and helps with exposure.
