#0.40.0.0 #Patreon Build
Hey there guys, are you all right?
Today I want to announce that the Patreon Build 0.40.0.0 is available for Tier2+ patrons! And with it, the first route related and focused only on the plot for the characters! That's right, now you can know more about the main character and one of the guys you can meet in the game!
If you're interested in grabbing this new build, become a tier 2+ patron to grab it!
There are a lot of little things I changed in this version, but the essential is in the image above.
Don't forget to follow me on Twitter (@yekkusu) if you're curious about stuff from the game. Every now and then I post what I'm doing, and I talk a little about what is happening with the game.
Now, some sad news about the macOS version of the game. It seems Apple changed how programs open on macOS, and sadly unless I own a MAC myself, I can't create apps for their OS. And for you as a player, to be able to open an unsigned application you need to do a lot of weird stuff and have some developer tools yourself, it's way too much of a headache for me to deal with. In the end, it makes sense why most indie games never goes to macOS, Apple has a very tight grip on the things you can run on the computer, and now you can't even open things you create unless it's signed. Since emulating that system is almost impossible, and my Patron are mostly Windows users, I decided to cut the macOS versions from the game.
I'm terribly sorry for all of you mac users, but my game is not making enough money for me to invest heavily on a mac, just to do all the tests it needs before I can publish the game, and give support about an issue I can't even fix without having the system myself is not a good thing either. So if you're a mac owner, sadly I can't provide you with a version of the game. I'll let the original version released originally for mac here on the page, so if you want to try to open that version, that's on you. But for now, that OS won't be supported by this project.
As I said to my patrons yesterday, if the game makes enough money to the point I can buy the hardware from Apple, I will do my best to bring the game to that system, but for now, I'm struggling to get new artwork for the game, so you can imagine the chances of me getting a MacBook or something like that are nearly zero at this point.
Anyway, I hope you all have a nice day and if you're interested in supporting the project, please, become a Patron! Every single bit helps, you guys have no idea.
See you all around!
