Hey Skaters!
Today is another relatively large patch that touches a few different sections of the game. It is meant to be a continuation of the last patch, notes found here, where we are moving the game to be a more straightforward and self contained experience. This patch will be changing the shop system, adding a new note collection mechanic/currency, and updating the game's UI to be much sleeker and more visually appealing.
The highlight of this patch is the shop system rework. In the previous system, 6 items would randomly spawn for players to buy everyday, with all obstacles costing Style Points and all other items costing Hardware. The shop had it's own pool of items, but also had a chance to pull items from previous seasons. That old system was trash for a variety of reasons, but we've moved onto better things with the newly implemented shop system. NOW, the shop has been split into 4 categories (Boosters, Boards, Riders, and Obstacles) each with their own selection of purchasable items. Some items are purchasable with Hardware, some items are purchasable with Style Points, and some items cost our new currency, Notes. Pictured below is how the new shop system will look.
Past that, there's been heaps of fixes and improvements that will be listed below. There's also a returning LTM, On The Grind, to celebrate the launch of the Note collection mechanic.
As a heads up, we're aware of an issue causing combo multiplier to reset unjustly sometimes when playing the game. This issue will be addressed in the next patch, just wanted you all to know that we know<3. Full patch notes below!

This shop is meant to be an expandable system, where new items can be added freely for players in conjunction with other, cooler updates. Please provide any feedback possible on the progression rates/shop costs/ect, as this system is open to improvement.
