Patch v0.1.1
Hi!~
This patch fixes a few annoying bugs, tunes the damage system and adds much needed card effects!
It was supposed to be just a patch for bugs, but since the other things were already in progress they were kept.
* Chillberus in progress for v0.2
- New Stuff:
- Card Hypnohole will now draw a card and deal damage;
- Card Untie will now heal for 6SP and deal damage;
- Card Canibalize will deal damage and heal you for a portion of it!;
- Discord integration. If you download the game and play it while Discord is open, with Game Activity enabled, people will be able to see it. So be careful!
- Visuals:
- Added a background in the healthbar for clarity;
- The cave looks cleaner now. Clean as in less rocks in your way, mostly walls;
- The steak that enemies drop is now the same resolution as other sprites;
- Improved some of the artworks.
- Bugfixes:
- Enemy SP was not displaying correctly sometimes;
- Player SP was not updating after changing floors;
- Tuned damage formula and progress:
- You won't have to rely only on weakness hits to defeat enemies (hopefully);
- Tengus now spawn before Onis. You can learn a card from Tengus that will be effective vs Onis.
- Entering new battles while interacting with beasts;
- Diary pages and food were not visible on the minimap;
- Can't drag a card when it's over a diary page or food;
- Pressing space after hitting the skip button in a dialogue bugged the next dialogue;
- The "Quit" button now quits the game :D;
- You draw cards from a limited pool, once every card is drawn, the pool is refreshed:
- This solves the problem pointed by @NotSoSecretGay, that you can get a hand full of useless cards.
- After dying and starting a new game the intro dialogue won't show up. Thanks @asusred13 for pointing out.
Might not release any new patches until v0.2. But will still very much appreciate any feedback!
