We've actually unlocked TWO Stretch Goal content stories since my last update! What are they?
Going beneath the wizard academy was something I envisioned very early in the world planning stages, and it was difficult to cut down to 'stretch goal' status outside the core funding, but was ultimately too self-contained even if it served the overall story well. I'm very excited to have it back in play, and to give the wizard culture a closer look!
This gives me a couple more weeks of funding to work on the project, which lets me add another dungeon, spell, and boss to the game, and wrap it all in a little story and quest format.
This was my favourite stretch goal and I'm SO excited to get to work on it for the full game now! This is a very Little Lord-centric storyline and will give them a full character arc over the course of the game from rival to still-rival to seriously-come-on-already to tentative ally.
I'll have a few more weeks to build out a new dungeon, questline, miniboss, and megaboss! While the Giant is planned on being a very late-game boss, the questline will begin much earlier, and I'm really excited to approach it this way rather than as a post-game DLC so that it can properly be integrated into the play experience.
What IS this secret community goal exactly? Fund around and find out! I'll reveal it only as that milestone is broken (which this rate, should just be a couple days out), but it'll involve a community contest to create content for the game. Art skills not required!
After that, we'll be looking at The Divine Comedy stretch goal, which I know is a favourite of the community-- but let's talk about that after 125% ;)
The Lone Fungus Kickstarter campaign launched last week. Take a look at the launch video!
The developer, Basti, is a friend I met through the indie dev community, and I've been really excited to see this 'mushroidvania' come together, as a blend of Hollow Knight and Celeste in gameplay and atmosphere. There's also a massive amount of mechanics and content in this game. Development is already quite far along, and there's a playable demo available as well. I'll be streaming it on our Discord server later this week!
I still can't say much more, but if you've been looking for a more complex challenge than the introductory Little Lord fight, you're in for a treat! I'll keep dropping teasers on Twitter until then.
Here's the latest coverage of Scrabdackle!
Yes! We're still continuing to run Peanut Wizard daily on Twitter and Youtube, and I still have more unrevealed exciting stuff to share (and more friend campaigns launching in the upcoming weeks!) - let's talk at 125%!
Cheers, and again - thanks so much.
