This is Alexander Westwater, creator of The First Friend. After 6+ months of development. I'm excited to say that The First Friend just launched on Steam and itch.io!
The First Friend is a First-person exploration game about an owner finding his dog named Zack while discovering artifacts that reveal forgotten memories of the owners past, present and future. It’s about loving and cherishing the things that you have rather than being envious of what you don’t have. The game has happy moments, sad moments and peaceful moments backed up by an emotional soundtrack by Myuu.
This game is inspired by The First Tree by David Wehle. For the people who like relaxing, narrative focused games like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture or Dear Esther then you may like this one too.
