Thank you to the ~50 Early Backers that have pre-ordered Tallowmere 2: Curse of the Kittens.
I have emailed each backer now with info on how to claim your Steam key(s), and given login details to a special page on tallowmere2.com for the upcoming name-credit, kitten-naming, and guard-naming forms.
The one Bastardly Boss Designer reward is also underway.
Steam keys have been sent.
DRM-free itch.io builds are just about completed for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
I am desiring to implement a small itch.io login code to allow itch.io clients to play online. However, I am extremely pressed for time. There's work to be done for upcoming German and French translations. Some last-minute Online Co-op client/server bugs also need to be addressed (not super critical, but bugs are still bugs, and I'd like to squash them!), including some stress-testing.
Everything is part of a giant task list, yet I can only work on one thing at a time ๐ And only so many hours in a day ๐ฐ
So, itch.io builds might not work with Online Co-op right out the door, but I will try to get its online play going ASAP. (and itch.io builds are working fine for Single-player and Couch Co-op)
Steam version's Online Co-op is working smoothly in any case.
Once the launch madness has settled down, I will be getting the forms ready to lock in the in-game name credits, kitten-naming, and guard-naming.
Kittens will likely be part of a collectathon achievement. Also want to see if some light-hearted cosmetic choices can be presented and implemented alongside the names... (more to come).
Guard-naming may also be aligned more deeply with upcoming room events (rather than just plunking a random guard before something with a name), so more details will come about for this soon.
For the Bastardly Boss, a lot of details have been fleshed out and plans are in place... Just have to implement them now!
It is all one day at a time, one task at a time...
Thank you for all the ideas, suggestions, and bug reports! Keeps things alive ๐
Launch is almost here. Looking forward to it. Thank you!
