MacOS Catalina - Some steps to follow

If you are trying to open Friary Road from MacOS Catalina you may find that the message "This application "Friary Road" can't be opened" will appear. Right now the only way to get by this is to use a Terminal command. You will need to:

1. Right click the Friary Road application and click "Show Package Contents".
2. Open the "Contents" folder, followed by the "MacOS" folder. In here you'll find a file called "OSX".
3. Press cmd + space, then type in "terminal" and hit enter to open Terminal.
4. In Terminal type "chmod +x " then drag the OSX file into the Terminal window. Doing this will paste the file path into Terminal.
5. Now hit enter in terminal.

After doing this you should now be able to open Friary Road. If not then try open your System Preferences, clicking Security & Privacy. Under the General tab you may find a prompt asking you if you want to open Friary Road. Click "Open" and Friary Road should now open.
