2020 February: Upgrades Galore

Greetings Lawmages and Magisters!

We're off to a great start this 2020! I have been improving the character sprites and editing the tilesets to better fit the sprites. Let's take a look at what we have so far!

• Jin went through some dramatic changes over time.

• Ein also got a major makeover.

I also would like to present to you the winners of the "Design Your Own Character Contest" in Twitter! These amazing characters have been added to the Academy thanks to the wonderful participants of the contest. Future students will adopt the same uniform designs in the future too. Let's take a look!

• Anra and Theres, two best friends in Drakewood House.

• The twins, Nomi and Yami, are assigned in different Houses.

• Fione loves hanging out in the Library. It makes me wonder why he wasn't assigned in Soulstice House?

Not only did the character sprites get a major upgrade, the chairs and tables of the Academy were edited to fit the new sprite designs!

• Newly renovated Foxhelm House commons.

I'm starting to get comfortable with the workflow that comes with making sprites and editing tilesets. To be honest, I got burnt out working on these things so I will be taking a break for a few days. After a much needed rest, I'll be back at it to further improve Lawmage Academy!
