Hey everyone,
it’s time for another major update — and this one marks a huge milestone for the project.
The first free public beta is almost ready, and development has been progressing faster than ever.
Here’s everything that has changed since the last devlog:
The first free public beta build will be available within the next two weeks.
Everyone with Steam will be able to play the game — alone or together with friends — and help shape the future of the project.
This beta focuses entirely on testing, finding bugs, and gathering feedback from the community.
The entire weapon system has been rewritten from the ground up.
Animations, handling, interactions, and internal structure have all been improved to make future updates easier and more flexible.
The first map is now fully playable in the beta.
It will not include story content yet — this will be added in a future version once gameplay and stability are locked in.
The second map will also be available in the beta.
Just like the first one: no story, but fully playable for testing.
To speed up development as a solo dev, I’m using:
Purchased Unity Asset Store content to accelerate map building and polish
AI-generated concept art for visual planning
AI-assisted debugging to help identify and fix difficult code issues faster
These tools significantly improve my workflow and help me focus on gameplay and design.
The settings menu is available in the beta, but not fully finished yet.
Some sliders and options may still be missing or incomplete.
This is a testing build — so several things are intentionally missing:
The narrative and lore will come later once core gameplay is stable.
For now, the player character is represented by a simple capsule.
A full detailed character model will be added in the next build.
The beta will feature only the first set of weapons — enough to test gameplay, balance, and interactions.
This build is meant exclusively for testing:
finding bugs
identifying performance issues
collecting player feedback
validating the gameplay loop
improving multiplayer stability
Your input during this phase will have a massive impact on how the game evolves.
Thanks for following the development — and I can’t wait to see you in the beta.
