Beta Update 2

Hey, it's been awhile since I posted one of these update. Most of my time has been taken up with some unexpected health issues, but the best part of my day is still getting to work on games and so I try to find time for it no matter what. Quick TL;DR for the curious, and then patch notes. As with the previous Beta release files available on discord. Unlike the previous beta files have also been uploaded to itch and can be found at the end of this post and on the main page.
Tl;DR
- Minor changes and additions to some ancestries based on play testing and feedback. One last thing I would like to add are some example names for each ancestry because I always like when games include them.
- Masterwork Armor has been fully reworked. Previous version was fine but uninteresting to players. New version gives players a chance to customize their armor.
- New enemy format! This comes with skills and unique rewards for each enemy type.
That's the major changes. Patch Notes are below for more details. As far as the project itself there is something I'm fairly excited to announce about the art for Inversion, but I'd like to have a few example to show off first before I make that announcement. If nothing goes wrong however, then I might have a second blog post before the end of the year.

Patch Notes
- Various random spelling/grammar fixes
- Pathfinder background reworked: grants 3 success initiative once per rest
- the ancestry overview table changed from short description of ability to ability name to clear up confusion.
- Remnants are now size Medium. Their description has been updated to account for this.
- Off World have gained an additional ancestry trait to gain additional hands at the cost of max Stamina
- Abyss Born are now size Large (2x2). Their description has been updated to account for this.
- Abyssal Winds (Abyss Born ability) reworked. Now a free action with 3 options
- Arcana Bolt cost +1 MP, and restores 2 MP per success (no longer has a 2+ success rider).
- Swim speed and Fly speed rules clarifications added to exploration rules
- Line and Cone attack type clarifications added to combat rules
- start of turn is back to no longer being a damage type and is instead a rule clarification.
- Masterwork armor has been removed. Replaced with Special Materials.
Special materials apply a specific bonus or additional property to Armor made out of them. Any armor can be made out of any material. This should be a lot more streamlined and also give players a lot more options in their Armor choice. - 1 out of X was added to the titles of Consumables, Ammo, and Gear Kits tables.
- mystic implements (gear kits) cost doubled
- the cost of all implement spells (adventuring gear) has been reduced by 10 except for spells that already cost less than 20 MP.
- Mount rules clarified to make it clear you can't ride more than 1 mount at a time.
- Resource Node (TL2 Tech Item) reworked.
- Warrior: reworked The Brawl. Now grants high mobility and free basic attacks.
- Shaper: replaced Elemental Plane Arrow with Blizzard.
- Shaper: replaced Elemental Plane Shield with Stone Steps.
- added Celebrations to lore section.
- Removed 3 enemy tactics, Updated the stat effects of the remaining 7 to that all have a clear direct change to stats, and a suggestion about what to expect out of its abilities
- Removed Elite (glass canon) and Elite (Sturdy) as enemy types as their differences are now in line with Brutes and Strikers.
- rules around how to create monsters have been clarified.
- An additional 2 pages of monster building tips have been added before the enemy list
- new enemy format being tested.
Now includes roughly 3 paragraphs of lore, languages and skills, a faction ability, and unique rewards. Enemy stat blocks then follow.
More enemies have been added to example list.
