v.02 - Walkthrough

This walkthrough starts after v.01 is complete, please find the v.01 walkthrough here: v0.1 - Walkthrough - Soles In Power v.01 by prairiecat

• Once you defeat the guards outside the Castle, go to the Inn and sleep to heal. Once healed, make sure you have a Super Potion and go inside the Castle to face another set of guards.
• After you defeat the guards inside the Castle, you will face Reed. Winning or losing doesn't matter here, as both will progress the story.
• Once the Reed fight is finished, you can loot the Castle for Gold, Magic Armor, and a Gold Bar to bring back to the Fairy for additional scenes. Don’t forget to heal after the fight.
• Head to Fiora’s Village, the man wandering outside will have a shop where you can buy a new item, the Encounter Decreaser. Not necessary, but will decrease enemy encounters in areas where they happen.
• At the Inn in Fiora’s Village, there’s a male NPC who will give you two Potions if you talk to him. Priscilla is also in the Inn, and if you talk to her she will fight you and always win, leading to a scene and Game Over. There’s also a shop in Fiora’s Village with new Armor and Weapons, and a new Statue to kneel at to get +50 Max HP.
• To progress the story, go to the bottom right house in Fiora’s Village and speak to the dark witch, Pamela. She will send you west of the Forest to Goblin Territory.
• Before going to Goblin Territory, I’d bring the Gold Bar from the Castle back to the Fairy (given you already brought her the Miracle Potion from her first scene). The Fairy will then send you west of the Swamp where there will be a single cluster of Red Mushrooms that are lootable, find and take the Healing Shrooms to bring back to her next.
• Go east of the swamp, while you’re here, there is a Stone Carving which will increase your Defense and a Chest containing Gold. You are also able to enter the House for some good loot, including a stat increase from the Bookshelf, but beware Rose will confront you as you try to leave. It’s possible to beat her if you have full HP and MP and a Super Potion, maybe a Mana Potion, but if you lose, it leads to a giantess scene and Game Over.
• Bring back the Healing Shrooms to the Fairy to unlock another scene, she will then send you to Goblin Territory to find another item for her, and you can do this while doing the quest for Pamela.
• Head to the Goblin Territory west of the Forest, and maybe bring a Mana Potion. Search the first Tent near the entrance. You will fight a Goblin and he will give you dialogue about their leader. The middle tents are empty, but you should then head to the Tent closest to the House, as this will contain an item you will bring back to Pamela in Fiora’s Village, as well as some new scenes. Don’t forget to search the trees to find the item for the Fairy, there’s also a Shield hidden somewhere in this area.
• I’d head back to the Fairy before going back to Pamela, as the Fairy will unlock another scene and she will also give you another item to find, this one in the Crypt to the east of Fiora’s Village. Before you go to the Crypt, bring back the Goblin Plans to Pamela in Fiora’s Village, as she will also send you to the Crypt.
• Outside of the Crypt in the Graveyard, open the Chest to find a Magical Ring and read the Stone Tablet to gain +50 Max MP. Then, head into the Crypt and find the Chests with the Frozen Orb and Pristine Ruby in them. This is a random encounter area against magic users, so wear Magic Gear and use your Spells to defeat them.
• Bring back the Frozen Orb to Pamela and she will teach you the Ice Spell, you should be able to then head to Goblin Territory and defeat Zyla in the House. There will be two Goblins at her door you will fight, so heal up with Potions after you defeat them and bring Mana/Health Potions in the main fight with you, wearing your best Armor, and maybe using your new Heal Spell you learned from the Fairy.
• Bring back the Onyx Powder to Pamela, where it will open her final scene and she will also open up her Scroll Shop to you, where you can buy and learn new Spells. They are expensive, but you should have enough Gold to buy one, which will prepare you well for the next update.
• After getting the Onyx Powder, bring it back to Reed in her Castle, where v.02 will end. However, there might’ve been some side scenes you missed, such as the ones below:
• You can bring back the Pristine Ruby to the Fairy if you haven’t yet to unlock her final scene of v.02.
• In the pathway to the City south of the Forest, there is a Farm Girl with a scene and a side story that will expand next update.
• Beating Reed in the initial battle of the update will have a new scene, as well as losing to Zyla carries an additional scene.
• Winning and losing against Rose in her House east of the Swamp both carry new scenes.
